Hi all been looking for a site like this... I'm not new to Orlando been here for 8 years Sanford 5.. One thing I miss about my previous town 8 years ago was a place called Lowell's Toyota in Lexington KY. They had to be the best mechanic shop I ever came across. Since I have been in FL I have had a car warranty, Though it is that time now and my car is getting older. I'm in search of a mechanic shop that is 20% as good as Lowell's if not better. Yes I do mean 20%. I'm not looking for a proformace shop, just a general mechanic shop with a bit of honestly.

Anyone? Thx so much...

I have used this shop many times. Quality work at reasonable prices. Plus its a mom and pop operation.

Orlando is the owner. I have taken my cars there for about 5yrs.
My friend has been taking his cars for the last 15 yrs.

Now, this is a very humble establishment.

I have actually change from domestic to import just because of this
mechanic.

PM if you need any more info...he usually does not do walk ins...

Here are two I highly recommend. We have been using them for over 25 years. Both are outstanding. Magic Mechanic - Larry Perry has a radio help show, the man diagnosed a problem with a car we had in the 80's that NOBODY else could find, even the dealership.
However, they are VERY busy all the time.

We also used Iced Cold Auto Air because they are honest (we know one of the mechanics moms) and do great work. We've been there so long - DH is on a first name basis with everyone from the office staff to the mechanics - which means they've had the same people working there forever. You know what that means in this day and age. They've always done great work, in a timely manner and at a fair price. Ignore the title, they do all kinds of repair work, not just AC. If you're in Sanford, they would be alot closer to you than Magic Mechanic.

Here is the contact info.....

Magic Mechanic
on the corner of Lee Road and Goddard Ave - just west of I4
407 629 2661

magicmechanic.com

Ice Cold Auto Air
Hwy 436 one block west of 17/92
407 834 1065

Visit their website and print off a 10% off labor coupon.

Ice Cold Auto Air

Good luck!

There are a few foreign repair shops in Orlando but they are expensive. I have 2 Honda's and one Ford truck and all 3 of them are serviced by Mobile Oval Auto Repair. This is a small mom and pop shop and the owner is a highly skilled Ford Certified Master tech with the skills to repair anything.
In my opinion, the most important things to consider when choosing a mechanic are honesty and intelligence.
If he/she is honest about the cost and completely explains the repairs and is intelligent enough to " diagnose " any problem thrown at them without guessing by replacing unneeded parts, (at my expense), then i am happy.
The mechanic i use is Myron and their website can be found at www.mobileoval.com - Orlando's Best Auto Repair shop! HHO parts and HHO generators are here!
